John Connor

Managing Director

John Connor is a senior finance, operating and restructuring professional with almost fifty years of experience in over twenty industries as a consultant and in C-level roles including CRO, interim CFO and interim President for companies undergoing difficult challenges. He has provided interim crisis management, company assessments, financing/refinancing services, and facilitating negotiations with the IRS, vendors and financial institutions. As a consultant he has concentrated on financial and operational restructuring and has helped firms develop strategic plans, retool their organizations, better manage working capital, and improve their credibility with their lenders and other creditors. As Director of Finance for a Fortune 500 company, he implemented one of the first activity-based costing systems in the U.S. He has directed the implementation of advanced information technology and analytical tools to reduce cost and improve competitive advantage, including daily dashboards to help in managing the business after the consultant leaves.

Mr. Connor has extensive training in fraud examination and significant experience providing litigation support services. He has served in court-appointed roles including expert witness and assisting with financial and forensic advisory support in both bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Connor is an honors graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BA degree in dual majors of accounting and management. He received his MBA degree from the Bryan School of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
