Thomas Kirkpatrick has served as CEO, COO, CRO and CFO of companies in a wide variety of industries across the country for over 30 years. His diverse industry operational and financial expertise, experience and leadership has solved complex issues and built corporate and shareholder value in both privately held companies with revenues ranging from $25 million to $500 million to companies in the top 50 of the Fortune 500. He has experience in manufacturing, distribution, technology, healthcare, building and home construction, real estate, financial services, retail, printing, agriculture, transportation, entertainment, professional services and private country clubs.
In addition to his strong expertise in leading and managing several complex turnarounds and reorganizations, Mr. Kirkpatrick has extensive experience in financial and strategic advisory services, business development, operational improvements and results, sales growth, marketing branding and development, mergers and acquisitions, bank and venture capital financing facilities, and the formation of strategic acquisitions between privately held companies and private equity firms.
Mr. Kirkpatrick previously was a Senior Manager in the private business advisory services, manufacturing consulting, mergers and acquisitions and financial audit practices of KPMG Peat Marwick for public and privately held companies, with revenues from $5 million to $500 million, VP Finance of international manufacturing company and the CEO/Founder of an international manufacturing company.
Mr. Kirkpatrick holds the designation of Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association. He is a Consulting Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants along with memberships in the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and Commercial Finance Association (CFA).
Throughout his career, he has taught professional development courses and lectured at business schools on topics of venture formation and entrepreneurship, international business, leadership, organizational development, managerial accounting, and financial and corporate analysis.
He is a frequent speaker on topics relating to strategic planning, leadership, corporate turnarounds and restructurings, growth management, capital raising, building company value, succession planning, preparing for a company sale, entrepreneurship and activity-based management.
Mr. Kirkpatrick received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and his Master of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University.
